With offices throughout North America and vast regional and cultural differences, ensuring all employees are provided the same training and messaging to identify and prevent bullying, abuse, harassment, and discrimination is one of our key social responsibility pillars.

The Respect Program has provided Laporte with a tool to empower all our team members to improve our culture and to mitigate organizational risk. We have strengthened and enhanced our organizational management and occupational health and safety programs by using the Respect in the Workplace program, and 96% of employees indicate that they are better equipped to identify, respond, and be a more respectful colleague. Since implementing the program, we have seen a significant improvement in our survey results and we continue to use the program as an onboarding tool for every new employee.
